Congratulations!
I will study it thoroughly. Especially where it comes to the adoption or non-adotion in corporate settings ;-)
I plan to finish my opus until end of september and it will be available after the respective procedure. It will be in german because I could not imagine transfering my dense writing style into english ;-)
Good Luck for your work and life "after".

[...] “From the beginning of my PhD research, I was interested in explaining the complexities of knowledge work that could not be simplified to “creating, sharing and applying knowledge,” and in exploring interplays between an organisational authority and personal passions at one’s workplace. Writing my weblog, Mathemagenic,1 as well as reflections and conversations that came as a result of it, brought a realisation that studying blogging provides a good case to explore both knowledge work and the role of personal passions in it in a more focused way.” Lilia Efimova, Mathemagenic: My dissertation online and in print, 3.
David, for the reference: I guess you are trying to cite it as a dissertation that usually requires details about specific department in the university. In my case it is University of Utrecht, Faculty of Social Sciences, IVLOS. However, since it's published as a book it probably makes sense to cite it as a book, with Novay (my employer) as a publisher. (It's also part of a series - I'll check what exactly has to go there and update the reference) Does it make sense?

The abstract above is a from a back of the book. There is an academic summary at the end of the book (pp. 239-240), it's online at http://blog.mathemagenic.com/phd/dissertation/summary/

Congrats! By the way I am trying to put your thesis into Endnote and there was one field that I couldn't find. What department was it you worked at in Novay?

Oh and your abstract above is fine but do you have a different abstract in the thesis itself? Your thesis seems to go straight to the introduction. Or did I miss it?
