It was inspired by reading a chapter in the handbook of qualitative research: Auto-ethnography, personal narrative, reflexivity: Researcher as subject by Carolyn Ellis and Arthur Bochner. Reading it, day before yesteday, was a special journey and emotional experience, and somehow I had a need to write about it.
